Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva have discussed with the Cambodians that we will send some responsibilities to talk together because of we don’t want the clue of the World Heritage belong to a conflict. Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in Office of the Prime Minister Sok Aan is going to meet Mr. Suwit Khunkittithe, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment in January.
The Prime Minister said we hope that at least it will progress. We don’t want to strain when the World Heritage Committee Meeting in June. Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has not met Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen at this time; he will meet him at ASEAN Meeting.
Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said the Cambodians are not satisfied with the Thai Government postponed the consideration of Joint Commission on Demarcation for Land Boundary (JBC) in several times. We must explain the reasons to Cambodians. When Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sok Aan will meet Mr. Suwit Khunkitti in the World Heritage issue, He will talk to Mr. Sok Aan in the portion of territory issue because discussion is a better way to solve this problem.
