       ที่พรรคประชาธิปัตย์ นายเทพไท เสนพงศ์ โฆษกประจำตัวหัวหน้าพรรคประชาธิปัตย์ กล่าวถึงกรณีที่แกนนำกลุ่มพันธมิตรประชาชนเพื่อประชาธิปไตย(พธม.) ออกมากล่าวหา นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี ว่าไม่ต่างกับ พ.ต.ท.ทักษิณ ชินวัตร อดีตนายกรัฐมนตรี และเรียกว่าเป็น ทักษิณ 2 รวมถึงมีการบริหารราชการแผ่นดินที่ล้มเหลวว่า เรื่องนี้อยากให้แกนนำพันธมิตรฯไปตรวจสอบว่านายอภิสิทธิ์เหมือนหรือต่างกับพ.ต.ท.ทักษิณ โดยสิ่งที่เห็นได้ชัดคือนายอภิสิทธิ์ บริสุทธิ์กว่าพ.ต.ท.ทักษิณ และไม่เอื้อประโยชน์ให้กับพวกพ้อง ส่วนที่อ้างว่าบริหารราชการแผ่นดินล้มเหลวนั้น ถือเป็นเรื่องที่ไม่เป็นธรรมเพราะที่ผ่านมาเห็นได้ว่า สภาพเศรษฐกิจในประเทศฟื้นตัวขึ้นเป็นอย่างมากประกอบกับปัญหาคนว่างงานมีจำนวนลดน้อยลง

การแปลนิทานเรื่อง หมาจิ้งจอกกับอีกา (The Fox and the Crow)

    

       กาลครั้งหนึ่ง หมาจิ้งจอกเห็นอีกาตัวหนึ่งคาบก้อนเนื้อบินมาเกาะอยู่บนกิ่งไม้ "ก้อนเนื้อนั่นมันของฉันนี่หว่า เพราะว่าฉันคือหมาจิ้งจอก" มันจึงเข้าไปที่โคนต้นไม้นั้น “สวัสดีจ๊ะ, คุณนายกา” มันพูดขึ้นดังๆ “วันนี้คุณดูสวยจังเลยนะ ขนก็มันเลื่อม ดวงตาก็เป็นประกาย ผมรู้สึกมั่นใจว่าเสียงของคุณ จะต้องไพเราะยิ่งกว่าเสียงของนกอื่น ๆ อย่างแน่นอน เช่นเดียวกับรูปร่างอันสวยงามของคุณนั่นแหละ ขอให้ผมได้ฟังคุณร้องเพลงสักเพลงเดียวก็พอ เพื่อที่ว่าผมอาจต้อนรับคุณในฐานะเป็น"ราชินีแห่งนก" ก็ได้”

ต้มข่าไก่ (Thai Chicken Soup in Coconut Milk)

เครื่องปรุง (Ingredients)


เนื้อไก่ล้วนหั่นเป็นชิ้นเล็ก 300 กรัม
300 grams of Chicken with bones removed, cut up into small pieces
กะทิ 1 กระป๋อง หางกะทิ
1 can of coconut milk. Can of coconut juice to add as needed.
เห็ดหั่นเป็นชิ้น ½ ถ้วย
½ cup sliced mushrooms
ข่า 8-9 แว่น
8-9 sliced ginger root
พริกสด 4-5 เม็ด
4-5 fresh chili pepper
ใบมะกรูด 6-7 ใบ
6-7 kaffir leaves
ตะไคร้ 2-3 ชิ้น
2-3 pieces of lemon grass
ผักชี 2 ต้น
2 corianders
กระเทียมหั่น 2-3 ชิ้น
2-3 sliced garlic
น้ำปลา 3 ช้อนโต๊ะ
3 tablespoons of fish sauce
น้ำตาลทราย 1 ช้อนโต๊ะ
1 tablespoon of sugar
น้ำมะนาว 3 ช้อนโต๊ะ
3 tablespoons of lime juice
น้ำเปล่า 2 ถ้วย
2 cups of water


วิธีทำ (Steps)
1. นำข่า ตะไคร้ ใบมะกรูด และกระเทียม ต้มในน้ำเปล่า 2 ถ้วย
Boil the ginger, lemon grass, lime leaves, and garlic in two cups of water.
2. นำเนื้อไก่ลงไปต้ม แล้วต้มต่อไปอีกประมาณ 8 นาที เพื่อให้เนื้อไก่สุก
Add the chicken pieces to the boiling water and continue to boil for 8 minutes until chicken meat is cooked completely.
3. นำกะทิมาใส่ คนให้เข้ากัน แล้วต้มต่อไปอีก 3 นาที
Add one can of coconut milk and bring the mixture back to the boil again for another 3 minutes.
4. เติมน้ำปลา 3 ช้อนโต๊ะ น้ำมะนาว 3 ช้อนโต๊ะ เห็ดหั่นชิ้น ½ ถ้วย และพริก 4-5 ดอก จากนั้นต้มต่อไปประมาณ 1 นาที
Add 3 tablespoons of fish sauce and the lime juice, ½ cup sliced mushrooms and 4-5 fresh chili peppers and bring back to the boil for one full minute.
5. เมื่อส่วนผสมทุกอย่างสุกได้ที่ ก็นำลงจากเตา เสิร์ฟพร้อมกับข้าวสวยร้อนๆ
When all ingredients are heated that remove from heat and serve over white rice.

PM may meet PAD after returning from Davos

       Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva will possibly intervene to end the protest by the People's Alliance for Democracy, Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said on Friday, hinting the meeting might take place after PM returned from Davos, Switzerland.
       Abhisit, departed Thursday's night for the World Economic Forum, is scheduled to return to Bangkok Monday's morning.
       Suthep said he believed Abhisit would want to talk to the PAD himself.
       Since Tuesday, the PAD has been protesting for what it sees as the government mishandling of the border dispute with Cambodia.
